Exciting Announcement from Sanctuary of His Presence Kingdom Ministries!

As we step into 2025, we are thrilled to unveil our ministry theme:

What Does Expansion Mean for Us?

1. Divine Provision : Just as God provided for Isaac, we will embrace the abundant opportunities He is creating for us spiritually, relationally, and physically.

2. Growth in Unity :Our theme emphasizes the importance of unity. Together, we can create an environment where God multiplies our efforts and blesses our endeavors.

3. Fruitfulness in Our Community : Expansion means reaching out beyond our walls. We are committed to serving our community and sharing the love of Christ through impactful outreach initiatives.

Valued and Appreciated Friends,
As we embark on Month 2 of our journey through Proverbs, I invite you to immerse yourself in the profound teachings of chapters 4 to 6, where wisdom is not merely an abstract concept but a vibrant, living entity that beckons us toward a life of purpose and clarity. In these verses, wisdom is personified as a guiding figure, urging us to embrace her teachings and walk in her ways. Let us reflect on the actionable steps we can take to cultivate this invaluable gift—whether it’s seeking counsel from those we admire, dedicating time to prayerful reflection, or committing to lifelong learning through scripture. By intentionally weaving wisdom into the fabric of our daily lives, we not only enrich our journeys but also illuminate the path for others, fostering a community grounded in understanding and love. Together, let us pursue wisdom with open hearts and minds, allowing it to transform us and our world.

Title: The Serpent’s Exposure: Embracing Truth, Fire, and the Presence of God

Seon W. Sealey,
Senior Pastor
Sanctuary of His Presence Kingdom Ministries

In the book of Acts, we find a powerful narrative that speaks volumes about the intersection of truth, divine fire, and the presence of God. Acts 28:3 recounts the moment when the Apostle Paul, after surviving a shipwreck, gathered sticks to build a fire. In this act of service, a viper emerged from the heat and fastened itself to his hand. This vivid imagery serves as a profound metaphor for the spiritual realities we face today: when we ignite the fire of God’s presence, the serpents of deceit, fear, and malice are exposed.

Truth as a Light

The truth is a powerful force. As John 8:32 states, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” In a world rife with misinformation and deception, the truth of God’s Word stands as a beacon of hope and clarity. It is through the lens of truth that we can discern the serpents lurking in the shadows of our lives. The serpent, often a symbol of temptation and sin, represents the lies that seek to ensnare us. Yet, when we embrace the truth, we shine a light on these hidden dangers, rendering them powerless.

As theologian N.T. Wright eloquently puts it, “The truth is not a set of propositions to be believed; it is a living reality to be encountered.” When we encounter the truth of God, we are not merely absorbing information; we are engaging with the very essence of His presence, which transforms us and exposes the darkness around us.

The Fire of God’s Presence

Fire is a recurring theme throughout Scripture, often symbolizing God’s presence and purifying power. In Exodus 3, God appears to Moses in a burning bush, a fire that does not consume. This divine fire represents both the holiness of God and His desire to purify His people. Similarly, in Acts 2, the Holy Spirit descends upon the disciples as tongues of fire, empowering them for their mission.

When we invite the fire of God into our lives, we are inviting His presence to burn away the impurities that hinder our spiritual growth. As Hebrews 12:29 reminds us, “For our God is a consuming fire.” This fire does not merely expose the serpents; it also empowers us to overcome them. It ignites a passion within us to pursue holiness and righteousness, equipping us to stand firm against the adversary.

The Presence of God as Our Shield

The presence of God is our ultimate refuge. Psalm 91:1 declares, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” When we dwell in His presence, we are shielded from the attacks of the enemy. The serpents that seek to latch onto us are rendered powerless in the light of His glory.

As we navigate the complexities of life, we must remain vigilant, recognizing that the enemy often disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). However, when we are grounded in truth and enveloped in the fire of God’s presence, we can discern the true nature of these serpents. They may strike, but they cannot prevail against the power of God that resides within us.

A Clarion Call

In these tumultuous times, let us be a people who embrace truth, fan the flames of God’s presence, and expose the serpents that threaten our spiritual vitality. As we gather in worship, prayer, and fellowship, let us be reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

May we rise up, emboldened by the truth, ignited by the fire, and enveloped in the presence of God. Together, we can confront the serpents of our age, knowing that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

Truth, Fire, and the presence of God always expose serpents.

Church Mission

Transforming Lives, Making Disciples, Enlarging God’s Kingdom.

Sanctuary of His Presence Kingdom Ministries is a ministry that is dedicated to transforming lives, making disciples, and enlarging God’s kingdom. Our mission is to bring people closer to God through His word and to help them live a life of purpose.

The idea of transforming lives is not a new one. It is a central theme in the Bible. In Romans 12:2, the Bible says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” We believe that transformation is possible through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Making disciples is another important aspect of our ministry. Jesus commanded his disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20) We believe that it is our responsibility to help people grow in their faith and become disciples of Jesus Christ.

Enlarging God’s Kingdom is also a central part of our mission. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” We believe that as we focus on God’s
